Hyena Rebrand Project

For the creation of this short animated ad, the zoo prompted a small group of people I was included in to rebrand the hyena. They had come to us with concerns of their hyena exhibit explaining that hyenas often get a bad wrap for no good reason really. My group and I did some research on hyenas and found some wonderful information to help turn around the image of this tactful animal.

Visual Development

For this project part of my job was to do the visual development of our hyena character. Here are the exploration sketches of different stylized hyenas. In the end however the client chose an alternate design of the ones listed here.

Character Animation
